BOWL SHOW RULES

There are three classes for each Monthly Bowl Show.
Class 1 and Class 2 are specified categories of competition, with Class 3 as the Favorite
(member’s choice).
There is a maximum limit of three (3) entries per SWMAS member for Class 1 and 2,
and only one (1) entry per member for Class 3, Favorite.

All entries for the Monthly Bowl Show must be present and signed in by 8:30 p.m.
on meeting nights.

Members entering their fish must give the name of the fish, and their name to the
Bowl Show Chairperson.

When entering fish in the Monthly Bowl Show, it must be in a container that has at least
two (2) flat sides.

No one shall tamper with another member’s fish bowl!

The Bowl Show Chairperson will announce the judge(s) for the evenings Monthly Bowl Show
at the beginning of the meeting, and will announce the winners of the Monthly Bowl Show after
judging has been completed. (Judging is normally done during the Social Period.)

Points will be awarded on the following basis:

1st Place: 5 points
2nd Place: 3 points
3rd Place: 1 point

The Bowl Show Chairperson will keep a record of all points accumulated by members
competing in this program, toward the yearly plaque. (Only SWMAS members qualify for
the plaque.)

There will be a written report on totals for the Monthly Bowl Shows, and a year-to-date total
toward the yearly plaque in the SWAM publication for each issue.

Fish entered as a pair will be judged as a pair.
